The Masters Solo Invitational Piping Championships

The Master's Solo Invitational Piping Championships is a must for all serious piping enuthisasts. It features 8 of the world's top solo pipers competing in Piobaireachd and March, Strathspey and Reel, battling it out to become Masters Solo Champion 2008. Last year this competition was won by Murray Henderson who is pictured.

Competing this year are:

Alasdair Gillies, Chris Armstrong, Jori Chisholm, Willie McCallum, Jack Lee, Stuart Liddell, Angus MacColl and Iain Speirs.

The Piobaireachd Competition starts at 10.30 am and the MSR will start around 2.30 pm. Tickets are £8 adults and £6 concession and will be available from the National Piping Centre Shop in person or by telephone: 0141 353 0220 from July.
